Hot Dog Marketing Celebrates One Year in Round Rock, Texas
Hot Dog Marketing, a local boutique marketing and consulting agency, was founded in 2008 by Jessica Scanlon. Hot Dog Marketing initially operated of out Jessica’s home, and until 2013 she was the sole employee. Because of rapid growth she then expanded the business and hired a sales consultant and a graphic designer and moved into an office in Round Rock, Texas. In October she completed her team by adding a content marketer.
“Moving to Round Rock allowed Hot Dog Marketing to fill a niche helping small and local businesses that were being underserved by Austin marketing firms,” Jessica Scanlon said. “In 2014 alone, Hot Dog Marketing was able to help 91 local businesses realize their potential by providing digital marketing, public relations, and consulting services.”
In the fall of 2014, Hot Dog Marketing was chosen to complete a full branding makeover for the national sorority Kappa Delta Chi in a nationwide competition beating out 15 other firms. Additionally, founder and principal, Jessica Scanlon, has received numerous awards and recognitions including: Gold Advertising Award for her work with St. Gabriel’s Catholic School and a Constant Contact award for her work with Peace, Love, Nails. She is a contributing writer for Austin Business Journal and Business.com as well as a mentor for business owners at PeopleFund.
Hot Dog Marketing is able to connect the businesses they work for with customers they may have not been reaching themselves. Hot Dog Marketing offers its clients a range of services including branding and logo design, content management, and updating social media on a daily basis.
“Round Rock has served us well as a small business,” Scanlon said. “North Austin and Williamson County is booming with economic growth, and Round Rock has become the heart of all this small business development.”
