Crystal Wotipka specializes in strategic communications at Hot Dog Marketing. She brings a background in interpersonal communication, with more than 15 years of experience spanning brand strategy, content development, and stakeholder relations for complex, technical industries. Crystal has a proven track record of leading multimillion-dollar client engagements, translating dense subject matter into clear, compelling narratives. She has also served as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on positioning and messaging. Prior to joining HDM, Crystal spent several years in a communications leadership role at Rifeline, a public involvement firm in Austin, and also taught communication studies at Texas State University and the University of Iowa.
Crystal received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies in 2007 from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her Master’s degree in 2011 from Texas State University, and her Ph.D. in 2016 from the University of Iowa.
