The Challenge
R Bank approached Hot Dog Marketing with a challenge they were facing during a high growth period. They now had more branches, more employees, and more customers. The experience of working with R Bank was starting to get diluted with branch and employee acquisitions across the region. As they approached a new milestone in their history, they wanted to make sure they had a strategy to tackle employee experience, customer experience and elevate the overall look and feel of their marketing.

The Solution
Hot Dog Marketing set out to work on a comprehensive brand strategy, creation and implementation project with their leadership and marketing team.
During the project, we did an extensive market study. We conducted a leadership workshop, one-on-one employee interviews, a market survey about banking habits, pulled secondary data about banking customer demographics, and conducted four focus groups.
The results of the research clearly pointed out a direction for brand strategy. Craft a brand purpose about the extra effort that goes into creating a memorable experience working and serving customers as a community bank; develop a mission statement and vision statement that captures a legacy of thoughtful leadership the bank has been fortunate to have since its start; and go to market with a refreshed brand look and catchy messaging.


Hot Dog Marketing then supported the roll out of the branded materials by creating templates, new sales material and a complete and accurate brand guide for the bank to use for future projects and for employee training.
